What an unforgettable day! We were absolutely delighted to bring together members from St John's Community Centre, Newham Together We Can, and our local stroke support group for a truly special day trip.
Our destination was the wonderful Air Raid Shelter Cafe & Tea Room in High Wycombe. It was a true step back in time, filled with incredible 1940s memorabilia, live music, and a fantastic wartime atmosphere.
We had the chance to experience this unique and beloved venue before it closes its doors in July due to a fall in visitor numbers.
Outings like these are vital for bringing our community together, tackling isolation, and creating moments of pure happiness that we will all treasure.
